ABOUT TERRIE

Although not a native Terrie has been local since 2016 when she moved to the island (NTB) and joined the sales team with Lewis Realty. Having originally purchased in a townhome community here on the island, then a making a land purchase and later building on the island she gained a great deal of knowledge about the pros/cons and sometimes unique challenges that owning island/coastal property may present.

While working full time she was able to obtain her AAS in Criminal Justice, a BA in Justice Studies and a MA in Liberal Arts (Go Pack!). Prior to moving to Topsail Island Terrie lived in the Raleigh area. She worked as a sworn law enforcement officer for 25 years, retiring as a District Commander, and knows how to work with people to help them realistically achieve their goals. Upon retirement she pursued her long time desires of becoming a real estate broker and moving to Topsail Island.

Not only did she obtain her real estate license, she spent numerous additional hours on additional trainings offered by the National Association of Realtors ® obtaining her Graduate, Realtor Institute (GRI) designation, and certifications as a Military Relocation Professional (MRP), a Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA), a Resort and Second Home Property Specialist (RSPS), and a Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource (SFR).
